The Lime Science curriculum, in partnership with CUSP Science, provides learners with the foundations for understanding the world through the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics.
The Science curriculum draws upon prior learning, wherever content is taught.
The science units are filled with evidence-led practice and enhanced with retrieval units to ensure long-term retention of foundational knowledge.
Through building up a body of key foundational knowledge and concepts, learners are encouraged to recognise the power of rational explanation and develop a sense of excitement and curiosity about natural phenomena.
Learners are encouraged to understand how science can be used to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave, and analyse causes.
