The School Day

School starts: 8.45am (Children can enter classrooms from 8.35am but must be in the classroom by 8.45am)

8.35am – 8.45am: Morning activities

8.45 – 10.15am: Morning Learning (Literacy, Reading, Maths)

10.15-10.30am: Break

10.30am – 12.00pm: Late morning learning (Literacy, Reading, Maths)

12:00pm – 1.00pm: Lunch

1.00pm- 3.15pm: Afternoon lesson (Foundation subjects)

3.15pm-3.25pm: Afternoon story time.

Academy gates open at 8.35am. Responsibility for children’s safety cannot be taken by the school before 8.35am or after 3.35pm.

Pupils must be in school and ready to begin learning at 8.45m, all children remain the responsibility of the adult/carer dropping them off until they are in the classroom, unless an activity has been organised by the school.

Attendance Matters

Children must be educated between the school term after their 5th birthday and the last Friday in June in the school year they turn 16 years old. As a parent/carer it is your responsibility to ensure that your child gets a full-time education that meets their needs. You can send your child to school or educate them yourself.

There are There are 185 days in a school year, leaving 180 days to spend on family time, shopping, appointments and other things. Our aim is for all children to achieve 100% attendance.

Results for the End of Key Stage 2 SATs!

We’re proud to announce that last year, our pupils achieved results above the national average in their 2025 End of Key Stage 2 SATs!

Our Reception learners also exceeded the national average, demonstrating an outstanding Good Level of Development.
